What time should I arrive for my treatment at?
Please arrive to the Spa at least 15 minutes in advance of your treatment time starting. A late arrival may result in your appointment being cancelled or treatment time being reduced and the full treatment cost will be charged. If you plan on using our facilities we would suggest allowing an hour in advance of your treatment time starting.
On arrival you will be asked to complete our usual client consultation card and wellness form.
What if I need to cancel?
We understand that things can happen but we do ask that you provide a minimum of 24 hours notice of cancellation by phone to our Spa reception on +353 66915 0230. Failure to cancel by 6pm the day before your scheduled appointment will incur 50% cost of the treatment booked. Emails, voicemails and messages left at the main hotel reception after 6pm will incur a 50% late cancellation fee. Failure to arrive will result in a 100% charge of the entire treatment or package.
What facilities can I use?
Here at the Peninsula Spa all Spa guests and Hotel residents (except those booking Finishing touches treatments) have access to our Spa facilities. You can enjoy our outdoor Hot Tub overlooking Dingle Bay, Sauna & Steam Room. Our relaxation suite is also open and you are most welcome to relax and unwind for up to 60 minutes prior to or after your treatment.
We kindly request that you please leave all of your jewellery at home as we are unable to check robe pockets after you leave. Our wet facilities are not suitable for expecting mothers or anyone under the age of 18 and some medical conditions. Swimwear is necessary for the relaxation suite please bring swimwear with you and robes and slippers are provided.
What refreshments do you offer?
We have a selection of fresh fruit, dried nuts and water available to enjoy in our relaxation suite. Guests having treatments will be offered herbal teas and or juice.
Can I eat at the Hotel during my visit?
Yes, you are most welcome to dine in our public bar or restaurant during your visit. We also have a selection of day and half day packages that include a 2 course lunch in our Bar.
What ages are permitted at the Spa?
Spa users must be Over 18.
Are there robes provided?
Robes, towels and slippers will be provided for all spa guests to allow maximum comfort and relaxation.
Can I use the Spa if I am Pregnant?
We have specially designed treatments for expectant and nursing mothers. Please allow our Spa team to guide you in selecting which treatments are most suitable for you during this special time. Please note our wet facilities are not suitable for expectant mothers. Massage and stimulating treatments are not suitable before 12 weeks of pregnancy.
I have a specific health condition, can I have treatments?
In advance of your first treatment we will ask that you fill out a consultation form. Kindly advise us of any health conditions, allergies, injuries or other medical complications, which could affect your treatment and to ensure the correct treatment for you.
Is the Spa Wheelchair accessible?
Our treatment rooms and relaxation suite are wheelchair accessible.
Please note that Smoking and Vaping are not permitted in any area of the Spa.
